Василь Карпюк — український поет з Гуцульщини, прозаїк та видавець. Він народився у гірському селі Брустури Косівського району. Нині Василь Карпюк разом із родиною живе у Києві. Василь визнає, що гори впливають на його творчість найбільше, де б сам він не був.
